Auditel S.r.l., headquartered at Via Larga 11, 20122, Milan (Tax Code / VAT No. 07483650151), as the Data Controller, pursuant to the applicable national legislation and Article 13 of the European Privacy Regulation No. 679/2016 ("GDPR"), informs users ("Users" or "User") that the Advertisers Portal ("Advertisers Portal") uses cookies.

 

We invite the User to read this policy, where we explain what cookies are, which ones are present on the Advertisers Portal, how they are used, and for what purpose. The cookies present are exclusively technical cookies, used by Auditel to enable the functioning of the Advertisers Portal.

 

We remind the User that they can disable the cookies described in this policy at any time by accessing this cookie policy from the homepage of the Advertisers Portal and selecting the deactivation options indicated below. Disabling technical cookies may prevent the User from using or viewing parts of the Advertisers Portal.

3. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text strings sent to the User's device (PC, tablet, smartphone, etc.) each time they browse a website, and which are sent back to the originating website on subsequent visits, or to another website that recognizes that cookie. 4. What cookies are used on the Advertisers Portal and for what purposes?

 

Only technical cookies are used on the Advertisers Portal.

Technical cookies are used to enable the functioning of the Advertisers Portal and for the specific purposes indicated in the table below; the use of these cookies is necessary to browse the Advertisers Portal and use its features and, therefore, they do not require the User's explicit consent. If technical cookies are disabled, Auditel may not be able to provide the User with some or all services or features of the Advertisers Portal.

The Advertisers Portal may contain links to other websites with their own privacy policies which may differ from that of the Advertisers Portal. The Data Controller is not responsible for any data entered or cookies installed by other sites that may be accessed via links on the Advertisers Portal.

 

5. To whom may your data be disclosed and where may it be transferred?

The data collected via the Advertisers Portal will not be disclosed and may be communicated, for the purposes and in the ways described above, to the following categories of recipients:

 

• companies, collaborators, consultants, or professionals used by Auditel for technical or organizational tasks related to the management, development, and/or operation of the Advertisers Portal (e.g., IT service providers), or with whom Auditel collaborates for the provision and functioning of the Advertisers Portal services;

 

• employees and/or collaborators appointed by Auditel, acting as persons authorized for processing and/or system administrators under the direct supervision of Auditel;

 

• entities authorized by law or court orders to access the data.

 

The entities belonging to the categories above will use the data as independent data controllers or as data processors, as per applicable law. A list of the entities to whom the data is or may be communicated is available upon request from Auditel. Auditel will not transfer your data to such entities outside the European Union.

 

6. How can you disable cookies through the browser?

If desired, the User can delete cookies placed by the Advertisers Portal through their browser settings. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. However, the User can configure their browser to limit the number of cookies accepted or block all cookies by changing the settings as follows:

 

• Microsoft Internet Explorer

 

Click the 'Tools' icon in the upper right corner and select 'Internet Options'. In the pop-up window, select 'Privacy'. Here, the User can adjust cookie settings.

 

• Google Chrome

 

Click the “wrench” icon in the upper right corner and select 'Settings'. Then select 'Show advanced settings' and change the 'Privacy' settings.

 

• Mozilla Firefox

 

From the dropdown menu in the upper left corner, select 'Options'. In the pop-up window, select 'Privacy'. Here, the User can adjust cookie settings.

 

• Safari

 

From the dropdown settings menu in the upper right corner, select 'Preferences'. Select 'Security', and here the User can adjust cookie settings.

 

7. How long do we retain your data?

The data tracked through technical cookies is retained for the period specified in the table in paragraph 4 and then deleted.

 

8. Data Subject Rights

Data subjects may exercise the rights provided by the GDPR (Articles 15-21) in relation to the processing of data collected via cookies, including:

• obtaining confirmation of the existence of the data and accessing its content (right of access);
• updating, modifying, and/or correcting the data (right to rectification);
• requesting deletion or restriction of processing of data processed in violation of the law, including data whose retention is not necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed (right to erasure and right to restriction);
• objecting to processing (right to object);
• withdrawing consent, where given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal;
• lodging a complaint with the supervisory authority in case of violation of data protection regulations;
• receiving a copy of the data in electronic format and requesting that such data be transmitted to another controller (right to data portability).

 

The User may exercise their rights at any time by sending:

Finally, if the User believes that the processing of their data violates data protection regulations, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Auditel reserves the right to make changes to this Policy at any time, providing notice by publishing them on the Advertisers Portal, where necessary. Users are encouraged to check the Advertisers Portal for updates.
